HSC 2022 student Ruby Ko entered her HSC Major Study Dance film into the Sharp Short Dance Festival, an annual youth dance festival featuring the short works of choreographers and dancers under the age of 21.

Taking to social media, Ruby drummed up support to take home the Audience Choice award with the most votes for her dance film. The works feature two Year 11 students, Mia Deane and Saskia Andersen.

Several of Ruby's HSC Dance work (Major Study Dance Film, Core Composition and Core Performance) were also nominated for inclusion in NESA Callback.
