Naplan results ranks CCGS in top 100
Congratulations to students, families and teachers on the excellent learning progress reflected in the NAPLAN results published this week.
CCGS was the only Central Coast school to be listed in the Daily Telegraph top 100 primary schools in NSW, coming 51st based on average NAPLAN scores. We were also the only non-selective Central Coast school to be listed in the top 100 secondary schools, coming 60th.
A closer look at the MySchool website shows CCGS students making above average learning progress across the board between 2019 and 2021, when compared to students of a similar background who had the same starting scores in 2019.
“This is a fantastic achievement during two very challenging years impacted by COVID-19 and testament to our community working together to support the wellbeing and learning of our young people,” said Headmaster Bill Low.
“Continual improvement in literacy and numeracy is the foundation for learning across the curriculum.”
